ENGLISH WRITTEN TASK

A creative written response to our topic “From Stone to Iron” is due on 7th December 2015.

You can visit a library or use internet (only supervised access and only the approved websites by parents). You can write and create anything you like but remember – it is a written task – you must include writing! Although you have 3 weeks, plan your work wisely and do not leave it to the last minute.

For example:

  • Create a lap book
  • Make a leaflet
  • Write a story or a letter pretending that you have travelled back in time and joined a group of mammoth hunters.

Anti-Bullying Month & Anti-Bullying Week 2015

Al-Noor Primary School reintroduced the annual focus on Anti- Bullying and doing our part in the beginning of November, paying particular focus in National Anti-Bullying Week from Monday 16th November to Friday 20th November 2015.

A competition was launched to produce anti-bullying posters with 3 winners from each phase group.

We received so many insightful and thoughtful posters about anti-bullying, some of which went up in a display as a continual reminder of each of our duties in building and fostering good relationships across the school!
