Seerah Poetry Competition

A local competition in the community spurred Al-Noor pupils and teachers to alike to become poets!

This week has been Seerah week at the school and the focus was on learning about the praiseworthy and exceptional character and conduct of RasulAllah, salAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam. Teachers shared stories from his life and examined his qualities to inspire children about him and to help them fall in love with him. Please join us in this work by sharing with your child the reason you love the beloved Messenger of Allah and by talking about what they have learned.

Children have drafted some wonderful poems focussing on “Why I love RasulAllah, peace be upon him”.

All poems will be considered for the internal school competition insha’Allah and prizes will be awarded for the best three poems in every class insha’Allah after the holiday.

How to enter: There are 3 categories: 1st category, 6 to 10 years; 2nd category, 11 to 15 years; 3rd category, 16 years +.

Your poem must not be more than 300 words and you can only submit one poem. All entries must be submitted through www.skmet.co.uk/competitions  and all required fields must be completed.

The Roman Empire
