Year Four went to Alexandra Palace for an ‘interesting’ session of Ice-Skating. Many conquered their fear of falling and progressed very well.
Then afterwards, they went rope climbing in ‘Go Ape’. This tested their courage and resilience.
Year Four took part in an obstacle course and then complied a speech about their NAVIGATE characteristics: patience, empathy and resilience.
Year 4 went to the Natural History Museum to learn about the Egyptians.
Year 4 made a model of a lung in Science. They used a plastic cup, a balloon, a straw and sticky tape. When you pull on the outstretched balloon, the inner balloon acts like a lung breathing in and out.
Year 4 had a very exciting trip to the Ragged School Museum. The pupils dressed up as Victorian children.
They were shown a model of a Victorian home. They also experienced a lesson in a Victorian class by a very strict Mrs Perkins! Children must be seen and not heard!
Along with our Roman story in English, Year 4 made some impressive mosaic tiles.
Year 4 were looking at ‘Escape from Pompeii.’ They made a Roman road made of foodstuffs.
Thanks to our very own Umm Rabia in Year 4, we had the opportunity to welcome Mr. Pritt to the school after winning a competition.
Pritt team cam to the school and carried out a fun-filled day of arts and crafts with our trusty Pritt sticks!
