Why Al-Noor Hikes?

We are preparing todays youth for tomorrow’s world. In a world of rapid change, young people need the right mix of skills to thrive and steer away from the negative challenges faced today.

Although academic skills remain important, they are not sufficient to foster relationships between parents and children, and keeping them proactive. The nature works a treat, tackling a challenge with your child rekindles your bond and serves as a reminder to your purpose in life.

Al-Noor Hikes uses the nature alongside beautiful reminders from the Qur’an and Sunnah to give you and your children a respite from the day to day challenge of living in a city, work and the academic life.

The challenge.

You will be climbing the highest mountain in wales – Yr Wyddfa, which is also known as Snowdon.

You will be also fundraising for various projects that have been running successfully by Al-Noor. The funds raised will enable Al-Noor to support 4-11 year olds through the Qur’an development programme, 8-12 year old through the Qur’an Story time programme, 12-16 year old through the Al-Noor Youth programme and 16-22 year old through the Al-Noor Careers development programme.

Events are a community effort

With our many community events and ongoing projects, we’re always looking for volunteers who can donate their time on either an ongoing basis or for a single event. We encourage volunteers from all backgrounds and with any skill set to reach out to us.

Whether you have a wealth of skills and experience or can simply be an extra set of hands – we have volunteer opportunities for you. Make a positive difference by offering ongoing support or helping at one of our annual events.
