Sincerity

Say: He is Allâh, (the) One. Allâh the Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He begets not, nor was He begotten; And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him. (Surah Al Ikhlas)

Our school

Al-Noor Muslim Primary School is a faith-based school on the outskirts of East London. We deliver a curriculum based on the National Curriculum, informed and supplemented by Qur’anic, Islamic and Arabic Studies.

Al-Noor aims to promote moral and academic excellence in a caring and secure Islamic environment, providing opportunities for the realisation of our children’s fullest potential

The trustees of the Al-Noor Foundation all live and work in Redbridge or neighbouring boroughs. They embody the potential within local communities to affect positive change from within and make a measurable contribution towards ‘The Big Society’

The trustees believe the success of any school can only materialise through a collective local community effort; collaborative in nature, genuinely cohesive, inclusive and respectful of the community in which it resides.

Ultimately, it is through these universal ideals that the trustees have found their common ground and it is their belief these ideals are shared by all the communities residing in Redbridge today.

Mission Statement

Al-Noor aims to promote moral and academic excellence in a caring and secure Islamic environment, providing opportunities for the realisation of our children’s fullest potential.

Aims & Objectives

The Al-Noor Foundation believes that the success of our community inherently lies in the achievement of our children. We feel strongly that real academic progress is founded on a secure platform of all-round healthy development and aided by positive role models who embody the values we want our children to have
This all–round development includes both the intellectual and physical aspect of emotional and spiritual development. We believe promoting these aspects of humanity will catalyse community cohesion, helping create and sustain communities where all members are valued and work together for the common good.

The Al-Noor Foundation has in this vein worked hard to form supportive professional relationships with many organisations; organisations that can empathise with the needs of the Redbridge community and work cohesively in creating schools that are reflective of the aspirations and achievements of its youth.
